The National Adaptation Plan Global Support Programme (NAP-GSP), established jointly by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UN Environment), helps least developed and developing countries to identify the technical, institutional and financial needs to integrate climate change adaptation into national intermediate and long-term planning and financing. The programme supports the process for formulating and implementing National Adaptation Plans under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). In doing so, NAP-GSP works with partners to implement Nationally Determined Contributions and promote ambitious climate action in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
