The high level of climate-related risks in the Pacific region and the likelihood that these will increase substantially in the future, make disaster risk reduction (DRR) and climate change adaptation (CCA) key policy goals. The main objective of this study is to provide an analysis of the current level of integration of DRR and CCA in the region, with an emphasis on the policy and institutional environment. The report outlines some of the challenges and barriers to integration, evolving good practice towards integration and provides recommendations for regional and national stakeholders for further action.
